摘要

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical value of cytoplasmic intact and zona pellucid-free oocytes(ZFO).Methods:A total of 123 infertile patients treated with ICSI from January to December in 2016 were selected for the study.The oocytes were divided into two groups according to with or without zona pellucid:36 ZFO of 36 ICSI cycles in the test group,and 749 zona pellucida intact oocytes of 87 ICSI cycles in the control group.The general clinical characteristics,dosage and days of gonadotropin(Gn) used,serum E2 levels on the HCG day,average number of oocytes retrieved,fertilization rate,two pronuclei(2PN) fertilization rate,abnormal fertilization rate,cleavage rate,blastocyst formation rate and high quality blastocyst formation rate were compared between the two groups.Results:There were no significant differences in age,infertility duration,body mass index(BMI),basal FSH levels,dosage and days of Gn used,E2 levels on HCG day and average number of oocytes retrieved between the two groups(P>0.05).There were also no significant differences in fertilization rate,2PN fertilization rate,abnormal fertilization rate,cleavage rate,blastocyst formation rate and high quality blastocyst formation rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Zona-free oocytes can be successfully fertilized,and cleave & develop to blastocyst.If there is no available embryo,the zona-free oocytes can be used for increasing the cumulative pregnancy rate in clinical practice.
