摘要

Abstract

The inter-symbol interference generated by channel distortion in communication process affects the communica-tion quality seriously,and is solved with equalization technology. The principle of traditional fixed step blind equalization con-stant modulus algorithm(CMA)is introduced. The problem that the fast convergence rate and small steady-state error can′t be both balanced is analyzed with simulation. To solve this problem,a variable step blind equalization algorithm based on Sigmoid function is proposed. The CMA is improved to eliminate the inter-symbol interference,and principle of its improved algorithm is elaborated. The effect of the parameters in the algorithm on the algorithm performance is analyzed. The results of simulation ex-periments show that the algorithm can maintain a small steady-state error while accelerating the convergence speed.
