Abstract
In polymer extrusion,melt temperature is one of the crucial variables of melt quality.The homogeneity of melt temperature is important for product quality.However,polymer extrusion usually does not run in the optimal condition,such as temperature fluctuation which is difficult to monitor and control by using single point thermocouples. This paper summarizes the in-process metering techniques of melt temperature in polymer extrusion,introduces the main subclass,features and current status of metering techniques of melt temperature in polymer extrusion,and discusses the existing challenges for in-process metering of melt temperature in industry.关键词
