Nonlinear random response of functionally graded material beams
摘要
Abstract
The motion equation of the functionally gradient material(FGM)beam was established based on the large deformation theory.The vertical displacements of the beam were expressed as the sum of products of the time function and the linear modal.By using the Galerkin method,the governing partial differential equation of the FGM beam was transformed into a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations.The mean square displacement of the FGM simply supported beam under random excitation was obtained by using the equivalent linearization technique.The New-Mark and the Monte Carlo numerical simulation were used to validate the proposed technique.Finally,the influences of different material gradient index,excitation intensity and beam length ratio on the random response of the FGM simply supported beam were discussed.关键词
