Clinical guidelines for gastric endoscopic submucosal dissection during the perioperative period
摘要
Abstract
Gastric cancer became one of the important public health issues endangering people's health in China.Currently,endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) has been used for the curative resection of the early gastric cancer (EGC) without lymph node metastasis (LNM).Endoscopic resection has several advantages,including less invasiveness,permitting en bloc,histologically completed resection,accurate pathological diagnosis,lower recurrent rate and rapid recovery.The perioperative period of ESD is the time period describing the duration of a patient's endoscopic operative procedure;this commonly includes ward admission,indication,contraindication,preoperative preparation,endoscopic operation,postoperative complications,recovery and the disposal of specimen.This guideline is intended to provide information that may assist endoscopists in providing care to patients.The other reason to write this guideline is to familiarize endoscopists not only with the general indications of the ESD procedure for EGC and possible complications but also with the standard operation procedure.关键词
