摘要

Abstract

Objective To study the oxidative degradation, antioxidant and antitumor activity of Astragalus polysaccharide. Methods The Astragalus polysaccharides was degraded by free radicals induced by the vitamin C and hydrogen peroxide system, and the oxidative degradation, antioxidant and antitumor activity of Astragalus polysaccharide were analyzed. Results Astragalus polysaccharides with different molecular mass were obtained by different concentrations of induction system. In vitro, antioxidant activity and antitumor activity were increased with the decrease of molecular weight of the fragments. Conclusion The biological activity of Astragalus polysaccharide is related to its relative molecular mass.
