Investigation and Analysis on Cognition Degree of the Children Patients' Parents on Common Cold and Its Medication Safety

Abstract
Objective To understand the cognition degree of the children patients′ parents on the common cold and its medication safety, and to provide the basis for the public medication education and pharmaceutical intervention. Methods Totally 200 children patients′parents in pediatric outpatients were selected per quarter in 2016, and finally for a total of 800 cases. The investigation was carried out by self - designed questionnaire of common cold, which included the general situation of the children patients′ parents, the cognition of the common cold and its rational drug use, and the attitude of the medication safety of the children. Results Totally 800 questionnaires were distributed, 766 valid questionnaires were retrieved, and the effective recovery rate was 95. 75％ . 79. 24％ (607 / 766) parents thought that antibiotics should be used for the treatment of common cold, 74. 28％ (569 / 766) parents thought that antiviral drugs should be used, 93. 73％ (718 / 766 ) parents indicated that they would give children the anti - cold compound preparation, 87. 21％ (668 / 766) parents didn′t understand the anti - cold compound ingredients of the pharmacological effects and adverse reactions, 87. 21％ (668 / 766) parents would given the medicine to children as long as the doctor prescribed more than 2 kinds of anti - cold compound preparations, 75. 20％ (576 / 766) parents wanted to get the pharmaceutical care provided by the pharmacist in the treatment. Conclusion Most of the of children patients′ parents have cognitive defects in common cold, rational drug use and the adverse reaction of anti - cold com-pound preparation. The pharmacists should improve the cognition level of the children patients′ parents on rational drug use for common cold and ensure the medication safety or children patients through diversified pharmaceutical education, medication guidance and other pharmaceutical intervention measures.关键词
