摘要

Abstract

The rapid development of micro-nano satellite brings new challenges to the thruster.Because of the advantages of small size,light weight,low power and high specific impulse,micro-cathode arc thruster is the ideal choice for space propulsion of micro-nano satellite.The operating principle of microcathode arc thruster and application advantages are introduced in this paper,followed by comprehensive account for its experiments,simulation and application,as well as analysis of its essential technology.In the end,we show the outlook of application prospect and development direction.
