Abstract
Objective To study the effect of continuous nursing on the patients with colostomy after Miles surgery.Methods A total of 80 patients with rectal cancer who received Miles surgery in our hospital from September 2014 to September 2015 were recruited and randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the treatment group received additional continuous nursing.Self-care ability,quality of life and the incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Results Before surgery,there was no significant difference in self-care ability and quality of life score between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05).6 months after surgery,scores of sub-dimensions and total score of self-care ability in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Total score of SF-36 in the treatment group were significantly higher than in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The incidence in complications in the treatment group was 10％,which was significantly lower than that in the control group (32.5％) (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The mode of continuous nursing can significantly improve the self-care ability and quality of life in patients after operation,and helps to reduce complications.It has a potential for clinical application.关键词
