Ore Controlling Factors of Pb-Zn Deposits and Prospecting Directions in Songtao-Wanshan Area, Guizhou

Abstract
Songtao-Wanshan Pb-Zn mining districts with the adjacent Hunan Huayuan Pb-Zn deposit are all located on the intersection of Yunnan-Guizhou metallogenic belt and western Hunan and western Hubei metallogenic belt.Babazhai,Shuiyuan-Daidong,Xiunao and Pukouchang ore spots have been found in the field,generally distributed in 10 to 20 degrees northeast.According to different types of output,the Pb-Zn deposits are divided into Pb-Zn deposits produced in the algal limestone,Pb-Zn deposits produced altered dolomite and Pb-Zn deposits produced in the intermittent band of Hg ore body.NE and NNE faults,algal limestone,brecciated dolomite and altered dolomite are the main factors that control the formation and distribution of the ore deposits.On the basis of geological characteristics,ore genesis and ore-controlling factors,combined with practical exploration results,the paper proposes futher ore-search prospects around Mushu-Zipo,Daping,and Kangjin-Xiaohongyan areas.关键词
