摘要

Abstract

Mobile cellular network and traditional wired network have great difference in delay model.Based on the characteristics of mobile cellular communication,this paper proposes a delay passive measurement method for mobile cellular networks.According to different states of RRC (Radio Resource Control) in the communication link layer,the network delay was divided into idle state delay and connected state extension.By analyzing the traffic flow of the measurement points in the backbone network,we calculated the round-trip time delay of RRC in different states to determine the validity.We measured the idle state delay and the link state delay between the terminals and the measurement points.Compared with the traditional measurement technology,this method is more precise and detailed for the delay measurement of the mobile cellular network,which has no effect on the user and has more practical application value.Experimental results show that the proposed method has higher measurement efficiency and accuracy.
