摘要
Abstract
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a combination of 17 digits or letters, which is internationally used for identification of motor vehicles. VIN is consisted of the manufacturer identification number, vehicle description section and vehicle indicator section. VIN is unique for a specific car. Therefore, VIN is the main index of automobile production, manufacture, sale, insurance, claim settlement, maintenance and recall management. The scientific management of VIN is of great significance to improve the efficiency of vehicle management. At present, under the premise of meeting the national standards GB 16735, automobile manufacturers develop their own enterprise standards. Different VIN coding rules from different enterprises vary greatly, which cannot be parsed in accordance with uniform rule. In this paper, a vehicle identification code management system is designed and developed to realize the automatic, rapid and accurate analysis of VIN based on a tree structure model and it is applied to the defect information collection of automotive products.关键词
