The Captive Musk Deer Breeding Behavior and Research Progress

Abstract
Captive forest musk deer is a valuable medicinal and economic animal.After more than 50 years of artificial domestication,the young musk survival rate is still lower than livestock.Research the healthy growth way of newborn musk deer is an important approach to enhance the efficiency of young musk deer survive.In this paper,based on many years practice observation,respectively from the female musk deer breast-feeding behavior,newborn musk deer feeding behavior,parent adolescent conflict behavior and artificial rearing behavior in four aspects,wedid statistical analysis of captive forest musk deer rearing behavior.Compared with rearing behavior of captive forest musk deer achievements over the years,we explored the effects ofrearing behavior of captive forest musk deer and its impact on the survival of calves,which will help to establish the theoretical support of the best housing ecological compensation model,the optimal breeding model and behavior compensation.关键词
