长链非编码RNA PVT1在神经胶质瘤组织中的表达及临床意义
Expression of long non-coding RNA PVT1 in brain glioma and its clinical significance

Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of long-coding RNA (IncRNA) of plasmacytoma variant translocation gene 1 (PVT1) in glioma and its clinical significance.Methods qRT-PCR was applied to detect the expression of IncRNA PVT1 in 53 specimens of glioma (glioma group) and 6 specimens of normal brain tissues (control group).The survival curves were generated with Kaplan-Meier method.The correlation between the expression of IncRNA PVi1 and clinicopathological features,prognosis of patients was analyzed.Results The expression of IncRNA PVT1 was significantly up-regulated in glioma group compared with that the control group (P<0.01).The expression of IncRNA PVT1 in high-grade neuroglioma (WHO Ⅲ-Ⅳgrade) was significantly higher than that in low-grade neuroglioma (WHO Ⅰ-Ⅱ grade) (P<0.01).The expression of IncRNA PVT1 was significantly associated with the WHO grading of glioma (P<0.01),but not with age,gender,Karnofsky Performance Status (KPS) score and tumor size (All P >0.05).Log-rank test revealed that patients with high expression of IncRNA PVT1 was significantly associated with worse prognosis compared with those with low expression(P<0.01).Conclusion LncRNA PVT1 is up-regulated in neuroglioma tissues.The expression of IncRNA PVT1 is closely associated with WHO grading system and prognosis of patients,indicating that IncRNA PVT1 may serve as a novel molecular biomarker for determination of the malignant degree and prognosis of neuroglioma.关键词
