Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of microRNA-26a (mRNA-26a) in primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and its clinical significance.Methods The expression of mRNA-26a were detected with RT-PCR in plasma,cancer tissue and pericancerous liver tissue samples from 28 patients with HCC and plasma samples from 28 patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB).The clinical significance of mRNA-26a expression in HCC was analyzed.Results The expression level of plasma microRNA-26a in HCC patients was lower than that in CHB patients (P＜0.05).The expression level of microRNA-26a in cancer tissues of HCC patients was lower than that of pericancerous liver tissues (P＜0.05).There was a positive correlation between the expression of microRNA-26a in cancer tissues and pericancerous liver tissues (r=0.574,P＜0.05).The sensitivity of plasma microRNA-26a in diagnosis of HCC was higher than that in serum AFP (85.8％ vs 57.8％,P＜0.05),but the specificity was lower than that of serum AFP (65.2％ vs 80.52％,P＜0.05).The 1-year survival rate of patients with high expression of mRNA-26a was higher than that of low expression group (60.25％ vs 45.77％,P＜0.05).Conclusion The expression level of mRNA-26a in HCC tissues is down-regulated,it may be used as a molecular marker for early diagnosis of HCC.关键词
