摘要

Abstract

In order to increase the localization distance of six-freedom-degree electromagnetic tracking system, a large-scale three-axes orthogonal magnetic sensor was designed,which can overcome the restraining factors of large-scale sphere magnetic sensor. The distribution of magnetic field of square coils was studied,which complied with the tracking algorithm of magnetic dipole. The influencing factors such as material of magnetic core,wire diameter,num-ber of turns were considered during the development of large-scale magnetic sensor. The effectiveness and practica-bility of the designed magnetic sensor were validated by the results of long distance tracking experiments.
