Dynamic Partition and Optimization Method for Reactive Power of Distribution Networks With Distributed Generation Based on Second-Order Cone Programming

Abstract
Voltage quality problem caused by large scale distributed generation integrated in distribution network attracts much attention.Aiming at serious local voltage problem caused by large-scale access of distributed generation,a dynamic reactive power partition method is presented and a reactive power optimization model of distribution networks is proposed.Original optimization problem is simplified and transformed into a second-order cone programming model.In order to solve the difficult problem,a method of dynamic reactive power partition is proposed.A voltage sensitivity matrix is established for cases with different access feature and operation characteristics,and then nodal voltage variation of distribution grid is determined.Operation strategy of reactive power compensation devices such as capacitors and SVG is proposed,and reactive power of the compensation devices under various operating conditions is optimized.A IEEE33 distribution network and a 53-node dis~bution network are taken for study example to illustrate applicability and feasibility of the proposed second-order cone programming method for reactive power optimization.Effects of dynamic partitioning on reactive power optimization of distribution network and operation strategy of compensation devices are analyzed.关键词
