Spatial-temporal pattern and evolution mechanism of coordinated development of human settlement environment and economy in energy accumulation and vulnerable ecology regions :A case of contiguous areas among Shanxi-Shaanxi-Inner Mongolia

Abstract
As the important bases and carriers of national ecologic and energy security,energy regions and play a prominent role in the national economic development,and the coordinated development between the human settlement environment and the economy is closely related to the socio-economic sustainable development and the vital interests of the people in this region.Therefore,the research on the spatial-temporal pattern and evolution mechanism of the coordinated development between the human settlement environment and economy in theses regions is of great theoretical and practical significance,it not only can help the study of regional geography and also promote the coordinated development between human settlement and economy in the energy regions and vulnerable ecology regions.Taking the contiguous areas of Shanxi-Shaanxi-Inner Mongolia as the study area,this paper analyzes the spatial-temporal pattern characteristics of the coordinated development between human settlement environment and economy system,and reveals its driving mechanism from 2000 to 2015 in 13 counties of the contiguous areas among Shanxi-Shaanxi-Inner Mongolia,based on the GIS and SPSS,the methods of comprehensive index,the coordinated development degree,PCA (Principal Component Analysis),by building the variation model of the coordinated development.The results show that:From 2000 to 2015,the human settlement environment and economy system are in an uncoordinated state,and the spatial differentiation has shifted from the pattern which is higher in the north areas while lower in the south to the pattern which is higher in the central areas while lower in the periphery.The degree of the coordinated development of Yuyang,Fugu,Hengshan,Shenmu,Dongsheng,Zhungeer and Yijinhuoluo has been significantly improved.However,the degree of the coordinated development of Hequ,Baode,Pianguan,Xingxian,Dalad banner and Togtoh is on a decline.Living environment conditions,industrial structures,infrastructure and public service facilities,and government macroeconomic regulations and control policies were the main driving forces for the coordinated development between human settlement environment and economy.Among them,the primary driving force for the coordinated development between human settlement environment and economy is the living environment conditions,followed by the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure.Meanwhile,the improvement of infrastructure and public service facilities is an important factor,and the government macroeconomic regulations and control policies plays a prominent role in the coordinated development between human settlement and the economy.In order to realize the coordinated development between the human settlement environment and economy,improving living conditions and the infrastructure and public services,promoting the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure,establishing ecological energy economy zones and the macro-control policies are needed.关键词
