Abstract
Designs on launching canister of rocket launcher are mostly based on previous structures and experience,in order to solve stiffness and strength issues of launching canister caused by high mass rocket proj ectile,structural optimization method and procedures for launching canister were proposed. The initial geometric model of launching canister was established with functional requirements satisfied. Considering the dynamic effects of rocket gravity and gas j et pressure on launching canister,optimized finite element models were defined in which rocket were in different positions and there existed different pressure loads.The static response topology optimizations of launching canister were conducted for the purpose of maximizing the stiffness.According to the topology optimization results,a new geometric model of launching canister was rebuilt.The structural performance results of the new model are capable to meet stiffness and strength requirements.Shape optimization of launching canister was carried out ai-ming at minimizing the mass.The results show that both deformation and stress of the new launching canister are within reasonable limits.关键词
