摘要
Abstract
This paper highlights an effort to simulate the occlusal action between particles in three axis compression test of rockfill, introduces a method capable of generating CLUMP particles randomly without changing the model porosity and adding or deleting particles, and exemplifies the use of the meth-od to inverse the microparameters of rockfill.The calculation building on the triaxial compression test of rockfill excavated in Pushi River pumped-storage power station shows that calculated result agrees best with test result when each CLUMP particle consists of two spherical particles and deviatoric stress in each load step has the average relative error of 6.31%; and an increase in the number of spherical particles that make up CLUMP particles is accompanied by a linear decrease in the contact modulus, a slight in-crease in the ratio of normal stiffness to shear stiffness, and a tendency of the friction coefficient to be a constant.The prediction of the test results under confining pressure 400 and 600 kPa using inversion pa-rameters shows the average relative errors of 8.29% and 10.60% respectively; and a basic agreement between simulated curve and the tested curve, thus verifying the effectiveness of the method.关键词
