摘要

Abstract

CMT is exploited for data transmission between M2M gateway and M2M server. However, CMT cannot identify packet loss reasons in the heterogeneous wireless environment. Based on path congestion status, this paper proposes a loss detection mechanism called CMT-SC to solve this problem. CMT-SC utilizes steady parameters(S parameters)and congestion parameters(C parameters)to estimate the path status based on round trip time. According to S parameters and C parameters, CMT-SC divides the packet loss type into wireless loss and congestion loss, and executes the corresponding congestion control mechanism. The experimental results based on NS-2.35 show that CMT-SC can improve the throughput efficiently, and the detection accuracy of CMT-SC is high.
