Abstract

In order to investigate the pollutants reduction characteristics of the brown coal-fired power plants during water recovery from flue gas, a flue gas condensation experimental system was built up in a 600 MW lignite power plant. The experimental results show that, as the inlet temperature of cooling water increased, the removal efficiency of SO2 decreased from 9.8% to 6.8%. When the volume fracture of NH3 in flue gas at the heater inlet increased, the removal efficiency of NH4+ gradually rose, which was between 19.7% and 43.1% under the test conditions. With the increasing feed water temperature, the removal efficiency of PM2.5 and PM10 increased at first and then decreased. In contrary, the removal efficiency of PM1 exhibited a reverse trendency. The removal efficiency of PM2.5 was below 50% under present experimental condition, but it could be further improved by optimizing the heat exchanger and demister.
