Abstract
In respect of the various viewpoints about "kidney being a doing strong officer,putting forth the skillful ability",the author analyzed the functional relationships between the spleen and stomach,large intes-tine and small intestine in the process of transformation and transportation of water and food and then summarized the function of the kidney involved in the water metabolism process of the triple energizer and bladder to firstly understand the meaning of "kidney is a doing strong officer,putting forth the skillful abil-ity" based on the original text in Suwen·Linglan Midianlun. Secondly,combined with the relevant documents on the formation and development of the beginning of the word shape and meaning,the paper focused on the connotation of "strong" and "skillful ability". Finally,based on the description of the functional activity of the kidney in Canon of Medicine,this paper explained the physiological significance of "strong" for the human body activities as well as the functional significance of "skillful ability" for maintaining the unity of the body and spirit to protect the mind.关键词
