Circular RNA in female reproduction and gestational disease
摘要
Abstract
Circular RNAs,a class of non-coding RNAs,are named for their covalently closed loop structures with the absence of canonical 5'cap and 3'poly A.Recently,circular RNAs are found to be stably and conserved existing in diverse types of eukaryons,and they are resistant to RNase R,and often exhibit spatiotemporal specific expression.By acting as a miRNA "molecular sponge",they regulate alternative splicing and modify parental gene expression.The circRNAs can regulate the progression of many life events in transcriptional and posttranscriptional level.Many studies have revealed that circRNAs were closely related with the development of oocytes and embryos,progression of epithelial ovarian carcinoma and preeclampsia.This review focuses on the biogenesis and properties of circRNAs and their functions and potential significance in female reproduction and gestational disease.关键词
