摘要

Abstract

A series of hexagonal polycrystalline apatite ceramics Ca10(PO4)6FxCl2-x(x=0,0.5,1.0,1.5,2.0)were synthesized by a conventional ceramic process,and the single-phase was confirmed by normal X-ray diffraction (XRD).Then,the apatite samples were irradiated with 800 keV Kr2+ at room temperature.The irradiated samples were characterized using grazing incidence X-ray dif-fraction (GIXRD).Crystalline-to-amorphous transition was observed in these apatite samples under 800 keV Kr2+ ion irradiation. However,it was found that the apatite sample with higher F proportion had smaller amorphous fraction with the same irradiation dose based on a series of irradiation experiments.Namely,the apatite with higher F proportion would have stronger ability to resist amorphization of Ca10 (PO4 )6 Fx Cl2-x .
