摘要

Abstract

The modification of natural polymer flocculants, such as chitosan, starch, cellulose and lignin, as well as their application in treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater were reviewed. Compared with pure natural polymer flocculants, the modified natural polymer flocculants showed improved flocculation performances in treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater. In addition, the compound flocculants, which were prepared by mixing of natural polymer flocculants with inorganic small molecule flocculants, inorganic polymer flocculants or organic synthetic polymer flocculants, also showed excellent performance in treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater.
