Abstract
The nonionic surfactant azo-polyethylene ether (PIP-1000) was synthesized by 4-phenylazophenol,isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) and polyethylene glycol (PEG Mn=1000). The chemical structure of product was characterized by FTIR, and the surface properties of PIP-1000 was analyzed. The results showed that the critical micelle concentration of PIP-1000 was 0.40 mmol/L, γcmc was 43.2 mN/m, HLB value was 14.12, saturation adsorption capacity was 3.0×10-6 mol/m2, molecular cross section was 0.55 nm2, and the maximum foam ratio was 1.1, which indicated that PIP-1000 presented excellent surface activity. The synergistic effect of PIP-1000 and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether (C12EO7) system was studied. By adjusting the dosage of PIP-1000, the effect of low concentration and high stability foam could be achieved, and compared with single C12EO7 solution, the half foam life period was increased by 75%. Because of its high surface activity, the nonionic surfactant of azo-polyethylene ether could improve the surfactant molecular density and could be used as foam stabilizer for foam dyeing and finishing.关键词
