Abstract
Soil science plays an important role in national agricultural sustainable development and ecological environment construction. With the rapid development of the modern science and technology and the social economy, soil science is undergoing the shift from traditional to modern. This paper briefly reviewed the development history of the international and china's soil science, analyzed research status of soil science, and pointed out the research characteristics and achievements of soil science in China. At the same time, we analyzed the problems and challenges in the field of soil science in the future, and prospected future development trend, enlightening the direction of development for the soil science.关键词
