摘要
Abstract
Anemia is commonly seen in cancer patients, which is often caused by iron deficiency. We interpreted Position Paper on Management of Iron Deficiency in Adult Cancer Patients published in 2017 by a panel of European oncologists and hematologists, and comparatively studied the contents of it and domestic and overseas guidelines and literature about cancer-related anemia. Based on this, we presented the following key points:iron parameters in cancer patients should be evaluated and monitored as early and regularly as possible; cancer-related anemia should be identified and treated as early as possible; instead of blood transfusion, administration of erythropoietin-stimulating agents and iron is the cornerstone for treating absolute iron deficiency and functional iron deficiency.关键词
