摘要

Abstract

Based on the unsaturated seepage and unsaturated soil shear strength theory, the rainfall intensity was used as an variables. Numerical simulation of the volumetric water content changing process, effective stress field, displacement field and slope stability were studied in different conditions of antecedent rainfall intensity. The impact of the antecedent rainfall intensity on the properties and stability of unsaturated overburden slope was obtained. The results show that larger antecedent rainfall intensity leads to greater water content of the slope after the discriminate rainfall. The antecedent rainfall intensity plays a decisive role in the final water content of the slope. After the discriminate rainfall, the effective stress in the same position of the slope is inversely proportional to the intensity of the antecedent rainfall. The decrease of effective stress is small inside the slope but great at the bottom of the slope. The displacement at the bottom of slope is proportional to the rainfall intensity. After the discriminate rainfall, the slope safety factor decreases with the increase of antecedent rainfall intensity, the effect of rainfall on slope stability is mainly manifested as greater antecedent rainfall intensity leads to smaller initial safety factor of the slope.
