Study on the therapy of external latent-qi disease and new contraction from Treatise on Seasonal Diseases by LEI Feng

Abstract
Treatise on Seasonal Diseases by LEI Feng emphasized that eliminating pathogen and strengthening vial qi,adjusting stagnant qi and administering treatment acoording to pattern,people and timing.According to the characteristics of complexity, interior pattern, quick change, deficiency of latent-qi, it almost makes a point from root and tip, sets interior pattern as the root, takes exterior pattern as the tip, pays attention to the reasonable use of eliminating pathogen and strengthening vial qi.For new contraction,mainly to distinguish superficial and deep seriousness and identify the evil qi,take full account of the seasonal climate,etiology and pathology,disease and syndrome, and patient constitution, especially patient's condition to avoid exacerbation. The pathogenesis of LEI Feng is not confined to epidemic febrile disease,it also fully involved the evil qi like wind,dampness,wetness,dryness and heat and so on,the treatment of various latent-qi diseases is more thorough and distinctive.The new contraction treatment can identify pattern according to seasonal demonstration, which is concisely and systematic. LEI Feng's related treatise on disease therapy has certain reference value for today's TCM treatment of exogenous diseases.关键词
