Abstract
In allusion to non-linear and strong coupling characteristics of the unified power flow controller and problems of traditional control algorithms such as complexity and increase of equipment costs due to high switching frequencies,this pa-per presents a kind of improved predictive direct power control strategy.It firstly analyzes the topological structure of the u-nified power flow controller,constructs its mathematical model and deduces the predictive direct power control model of the converter based on the virtual flux orientation under the two-phase static coordinate system.Secondly,it establishes the ob-jective function of power flow control and selects switching state to be output that can minimize the function.MATLAB sim-ulating results indicate the proposed control algorithm can rapidly response to set values of active power and reactive power as well as keep DC bus voltage stable as reactive power changes within a large range.关键词
