Influence of Th2 cells and its cytokine IL-4 on ischemic stroke patients' disease progression and prognosis

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of Th2 cells and its cytokine IL-4 on ischemic stroke patients' disease progression and prognosis.Methods:53 ischemic stroke patients in our hospital from March 2017 to April 2017 were selected.The percentage of Th2 cells,IL-4 level,National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score,Barthel index,and infarct size were detected and their correlations were analyzed.Results:The percentage of Th2 cells and IL-4 level were positively correlated with Barthel index,and were negatively correlated with NIHSS score and infarct size (P＜0.05).Conclusion:The higher percentage of Th2 cells and Th2 cytokine level,the better prognosis in ischemic stroke patients.关键词
