Study on Correlations between Circumference and Chloroplast Number of Leaf Stoma Guard Cell and Ploidy of Different Cruciferous Crops
摘要
Abstract
Using oilseed rape, greenterrier and spring vegetable as the tested materials, the author studied the correlations between the circumference and chloroplast number of leaf stoma guard cell and the ploidy of these cruciferous crops. The results showed that there were significant differences in the circumference and chloroplast number of leaf stoma guard cell among different cruciferous crops or between diploid and haploid plants of the same crop. The result of identifying the ploidy of plants by chloro-plast count of stomata guard cells was the same as that by plant morphology observation. Therefore,the circumference and chloro-plast number of leaf stoma guard cell of plants could be used to rapidly identify their ploidy at earlier growth stage.关键词
