Post Competency-based Standardized Training for Otolaryngology Nurses

Abstract
Objective To explore the role of post competency-based training model for otolaryngology nurses. Method Control group involved 32 nurses from July 2015 to June 2016 and traditional teaching was conducted. Another 32 nurses from July 2016 to May 2017 were included in the experimental group and post competence-based training model was performed. The effect of the training was evaluated by using the operation test and the post competency assessment at the end of the training. ResuIts Nurses in the experimental group performed better in the theoretical and operational test (P<0.05). The total score of post competency and the score of each dimension in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). ConcIusion The training mode based on post competency is effective for enhancing the comprehensive ability of nurses,and improving the teaching quality.关键词
