Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical features and influencing factors of cerebral infarction in cancer patients.Methods:A case control study was conducted and 86 patients diagnosed with cancer and cerebral infarction were collected as the case group,while 86 cancer patients without cerebral infarction and 86 non-cancer patients with cerebral infarction were collected and matched according to age and gender.Clinical data were compared among groups.Results:Among cancer patients with cerebral infarction,stroke of other undemonstrated etiology was the most common type of stroke (37.2％),while for non-cancer patients with cerebral infarction group was large-artery atherosclerotic stroke (48.8％).43.0％ of cancer patients developed cerebral infarction within 3 months since the diagnosis of cancer,and 23.3％ of patients developed cerebral infarction between 3 to 6 months.Compared with non-cancer patients with cerebral infarction,the level of D-dimer and percentage of multiple infarction regions were higher in cancer patients without cerebral infarction.Compared to cancer patients without cerebral infarction,the level of D-dimer and percentage of distant metastasis were higher in cancer patients without cerebral infarction.Conclusions:For cancer patients,within the first 6 months were the high risk period of developing cerebral infarction.The change of coagulation and fibrinolysis function and distant metastasis may be associated with cerebral infarction in cancer patients.关键词
