Abstract
Objective:To investigation of the demand for terminal care and influencing factors in elderly patients with malignant tumor.Methods:Using convenience sampling method,we enrolled 138 elderly patients with malignant tumor.A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the patient~ basic information,illness,knowledge of terminal care,terminal care needs and attitude toward death.Results:138 cases of elderly patients with malignant tumor,the most common diseases were lung cancer (26.81%),colorectal cancer (19.57%),gastric cancer (13.77%),liver (9.42%) and pancreatic cancer (5.07%),accounting for 74.64% of all malignant tumors;122 cases (88.41%) patients have different degree of a transfer;102 cases (73.91%) patients have different degrees of pain;life can not take care of themselves in 76 cases (55.07%);patients with somatic symptoms include pain,abdominal distension,abdominal pain,diarrhea,dyspnea,palpitations,etc..The demand for medical services,general treatment / coordination with the largest proportion,accounting for 42.03%;the nursing service needs,choose the psychological nursing service most,accounted for 47.10%;half (50%) of the patients with urgent need the family to accompany;very urgent need friends visitors accounted for 26.09%;only 17 people (12.32%) need to volunteer service;the hospice services demand choice,the majority (47.83%) of patients with general hospital for active treatment.Conclusion:The quality of life of elderly patients with malignant tumor is low,and psychological care and accompanying care should be the focus of hospice care.关键词
