摘要

Abstract

[Objective]This research aimed to find novel natural-product-based pesticidal agents with high bioactivity.[Meth-ods]Two series of novel hydrazone derivatives were synthesized using cholesterol as the lead compound by chemical derivat-ization method and their structures were well characterized by 1H NMR and IR et al.Meanwhile,insecticidal activity was al-so preliminarily tested against the pre-third-instar larvae of Mythimna separata(Walker)in vivo by leaf disk at the concen-tration of 1 g·L -1.[Results]1H NMR and IR showed that all derivatives were target compound.In general,all derivatives displayed better insecticidal activity than their precursor cholesterol.In comparison with toosendanin,the positive control a-gent,most compounds showed more promising activity,especially compound 3 d exhibited the best potent insecticidal activi-ty with the final mortality rate of 55.2%.In the meantime,the data indicated that the most of derivatives showed delayed insecticidal activity.Namely,the lethal and teratogenic effects were mainly concentrated in the pupa and adult stages.[Con-clusion]The result of this study indicated that the introduction of hydrazone structure to cholesterol could be useful to im-prove insecticidal activity and these compounds may be developed as novel potent natural-product-based insecticides.
