Impact of Clustering Scalp-acupuncture Combined with Modified Buyang Huanwu Decoction on Hemorheology of Ischemic Stroke Patients with Qi-deficiency and Blood-stasis Pattern

Abstract
Objective:To observe the impact of clustering scalp-acupuncture combined with modified Buyang Huanwu decoction on hemorheology in the patients suffering from ischemic stroke of qi-deficiency and blood-stasis pattern,and to discuss the clinical effect of the therapy.Methods:50 patients who met the criterion were randomly divided into the observation group (n =25) and the control group (n =25).Both groups were given routine treatments,such as anticoagulation therapy,thrombolytic therapy,as well as improving brain circulation;on which basis,the control group was also given modified Buyang Huanwu decoction;whereas,the observation group was treated with clustering scalp-acupuncture and modified Buyang Huanwu decoction.Hemorheology changes were observed before and after four-week treatment in the two groups.Results:After treatment,whole blood high-shear viscosity,whole blood low-shear viscosity,plasma viscosity,platelet adsorption rate,fibrinogen,and blood sedimentation were all significantly decreased compared to those before treatment in both groups,and the differences were statistically significant(P ＜0.01);in which,the observation group improved more significantly than the control group(P ＜ 0.05,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion:The therapy of the clustering scalp-acupuncture combined with modified Buyang Huanwu decoction can obviously improve the indicators of hemorheology in patients with ischemic stroke of qi-deficiency and blood-stasis pattern,with its better clinical curative effect.关键词
