Theoretical Foundation of Point-selection and General Application of Acupuncture in the Treatment of Spastic Hemiplegia after Stroke

Abstract
Literatures of clinical trials on spastic hemiplegia after stroke treated by acupuncture were organized to summarize the point-selection theory and its clinical application.This research reviewed the point-selection guided by TCM theory(head points,points of yang meridians,points of yin meridians,Jing-well points,and meridian sinew nodal points) and modern rehabilitation theory (points on the antagonistic muscle,Jiaji points,and key points).It proved the effectiveness of acupuncture in the treatment of spastic hemiplegia after stroke and provided some reference for further study.关键词
