摘要

Abstract

The optical fiber ring resonator with high Q value and high resonant depth affect the detection pre-cision of the optical detection system with the resonator as core of sensitive component. In order to improve Q value and resonant depth, this paper analyzes the effect of length, coupling ratio and loss of the fiber resonator theoretically. It fabricates the resonators fabricated with five coupling ratios of the couplers and five lengths fiber respectively and carries out the test. The result shows that the Q value is positively related with the length and negatively related with the coupling ratio respectively; the resonant depth is positively related with match-ing degree between coupling ratio and loss of the fiber ring resonator. The experiment obtains the resonator with Q value over 1×108and the resonant depth over 85% in the experiment.
