Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of post abortion care on female contraceptive methods and reproductive health knowledge.Methods Two hundred healthy women who went to Dongtai People's Hospital from January 2014 to December 2014 for check-up and induced abortion were selected as control group.At the same time,another 200 healthy women for inspection and induced abortion were selected from January 2015 to January 2016 as experiment group.All patients underwent the same abortion. Patients in the control group received routine service,and patients in the experiment group received post abortion care.The causes of unintended pregnancy in two groups were analyzed.Choice of contraceptive measures before and after treatment as well as satisfactory degree on reproductive health knowledge education were compared in both groups.Results The causes of unintended pregnancy in both groups were similar,and contraceptive failure was the main reason(χ2= 0.283,P>0.05).The satisfaction degree of women in experiment group to reproductive health education was significantly higher than that of the control group(χ2=5.321,P< 0.05).After treatment,the number of non-contraception and unsafe contraception in both groups was significantly reduced(χ2value was 10.943,15.032,10.294 and 14.302,respectively,all P<0.05).There were more cases in the experiment group with high effective contraception(χ2=12.403,P<0.05).Conclusion Post abortion care can effectively improve probability of choosing effective contraception with high acceptance of reproductive health knowledge.It is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
