Research on Influencing Factors of Innovation Performance of Electronic Industry Based on Upper Echelon Theory——A Executives' Cognitive Study Perspective

Abstract
Executives' cognition is an important factor affecting the economic activities of enterprises. This article is based on the perspective of executive cognition, studying on the factors affecting the innovation performance of electronic industry and the in-teraction between factors by using upper echelon theory. The results show: executives' awareness, career concerns and financial flexible reserves can directly affect corporate innovation performance. After controlling the endogenous effects, the results are still significant. Executives' cognition plays a role in the relationship between career care and financial flexibility and innovation perform-ance. The regulatory role suggests that when executives are concerned with low career concerns and companies have high financial flexibility reserves, executives' awareness can undermine the adverse effects of career concerns and high financial flexibility reserves on innovation performance.关键词
