Duplex PCR detection of ETT2 pathogenicity island of avian Escherichia coli
摘要
Abstract
The virulence genes of avian pathogenic Escherichia coli (APEC) are more complex,especially the pathogenicity island ETT2 is rarely reported in recent research.In this study,the ECs3703 and ECs3737 genes were used as the markers for the detection of the ETT2 element,and a Duplex PCR method was established to rapid detect the ETT2-harboring avian E.coli.The specificity of the PCR was confirmed by using reference strains.187 samples from diseased poultry were submitted to Duplex PCR detection,and the results revealed that 77 (41.2%) were infected with ETT2-harboring avian E.coli.A total of 247 bacteria isolates were made further identified by the PCR method,and the data showed that 116 (46.9%) isolates were positive for ETT2 pathogenicity island.关键词
