Abstract
Objective:To explore the application of HPLC fingerprinting evaluation method in determination of ferulic acid content in different grades of medicinal herbs, and provide theoretical basis for quality evaluation and grade division of Chinese herbal medicine pieces of Ligusticum chuanxiong hort. Methods:One and all gradeless and uniformly-priced goods in 11 batches of Chuanxiong pieces were studied by using HPLC fingerprinting method, and ferulic acid content in Chuanxiong pieces was calculated by using external standard two-point method. Results:The content of ferulic acid in Class A Chuanxiong pieces was higher than that of all goods, and there were obvious regional differences in contents of ferulic acid in all goods.Among them, the content of ferulic acid was relatively higher in Chuanxiong pieces in Sichuan, and the lowest in Jiangsu.Ferulic acid content was positively correlated with the grade of Chuanxiong pieces, and the higher the grade, the higher the ferulic acid content. Conclusion:There are differences in ferulic acid content of different grades of Chuanxiong pieces. The content in Class A Chuanxiong pieces is higher than that in all goods, and all goods in Sichuan is the best place of production.关键词
