Evaluation of reliability and validity of impact on participation and autonomy questionnaire in schizophrenic pa-tients

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the applicability of impact on participation and autonomy questionnaire(IPA) in schizophrenic patients in China.Methods:A total of 185 patients with schizophrenia and conforming to the in-clusion criteria were selected by IPA using the convenient sampling method and to test IPA.Results:The corre-lation coefficient of IPA-I questionnaire and items total score was 0.515~0.769,and the correlation coefficient of IPA-II questionnaire and total score was 0.701~0.794,P<0.01.The internal Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the IPA-I questionnaire was 0.962,and the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of all dimension was 0.818~0.929;T he internal Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the IPA-II questionnaire was 0.883,and the content validity index(CVI)of the scale was 0.830~1.000,and the average CVI of all items was 0.959.Factor analysis extracted 6 common factors,the cumulative contribution rate of 6 factor variance was 73.881%,and all entries were extracted,and each item had larger factor load in the extracted dimensions(>0.4).Conclusions:IPA had good reliability and validity,and could be used to evaluate the level of social participation and autonomy of schizophrenic patients.关键词
