摘要

Abstract

Recycled plastic composite crosstie is a new type of crosstie.This paper aims to analyze the effect of screw spike pullout force on the crosstie and obtain the true stress and strain curve line based on the axial tension experiment data.The screw spike applicable to wood crosstie is used.The composite crosstie is assumed to be isotropic and rate independent and in good contact with the spike,and quarter finite element models of screw spike and crosstie are established.The pullout force is calculated in terms of the rotation of the rail under lateral force,and the force on the top of screw spike is applied to analyze the crosstie displacement,the stress and strain during the process of pulling screw spike out of the crosstie.The results show that the pullout force has an effect on the whole width of the crosstie.The stresses of crosstie elements which are close to the screw spike bottom and threads are comparatively larger,and these regions are prone to failure at the same time.Increasing the pullout force may lead to a plastic region at the end of the screw and result in failure.
