摘要

Abstract

In order to simplify the traditional determination methods of metal ions,using EDTA as the complexing agent, the concentrations of Cu2+was determined with PAN,xylenol orange and urea ammonium sulfate as indicator, the concentrations of Mg2+and Ni2+were determined respectively with chrome black T and xylenol orange as indi-cators.The relative standard deviation(RSD)of the determination of Cu2+concentration was the smallest when the urea ammonium sulfate was used as an indicator,and the value was 0.631%.Therefore,it is better to choose the urea ammonium sulfate for the determination of Cu2+concentration.With eriochrome black T as indica-tor, the RSD of was 0.719%. So the eriochrome black T can be selected to determine of Mg2+concentration. When the xylenol orange was used as indicator,the RSD of Ni2+concentration was 0.760%.Therefore, xylenol orange can be chosen when Ni2+concentration was determined by EDTA complexometric titration. Compared with atomic absorption spectrometry,the determination of metal ion concentration by EDTA complex-ometric titration was simple and convenient,and the result was of high precision and accuracy.
