摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of butylphthalide on the intracranial collateral circulation in patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI) and thus the effect on the neurological functional recovery and disability.Methods A total of 120 ACI patients were selected from our department and randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group.The control group received routine treatment such as antiplatelet aggregation,blood lipid lower and cerebral protection,and on the basis of this,the treatment group was additionally treated with butylphthalide.Before and three months after the treatment,the intracranial vessels of the patients in the two groups were evaluated by use of Transcranial Doppler (TCD),computed tomography angiography (CTA) and magnetic resonance angiography (MRA),and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and the Barthel Index (BI) were used to measure the neurologic deficit and the performance in activity of daily living respectively.Results Before the treatment,there was no significant difference in the blood velocity,the number of collateral circulation,the NIHSS score,and the BI score between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05);three months after the treatment,the intracranial blood velocity increased obviously,the number of open collateral vessels and the grade of collateral circulation grew remarkably,and the NIHSS and BI scores increased significantly in the treatment group when compared with the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Butylphthalide can significantly improve the intracranial hemodynamic indexes of ACI patients,improve the number and grade of collateral circulation,increase the intracranial blood flow,and improve the neurologic deficit and the performance in activities of daily living of patients.关键词
