Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of laparoscopic complete mesentery excision (CME) on right colon cancer.Methods The clinical data of 89 cases with right colon cancer were studied retrospectively who were operated in the department of gastrointestinal surgery in our hospital from May 2015 to May 2016.According to the surgical methods,they were divided into the minimally invasive group of 43 cases (received laparoscopic CME surgery) and the open group of 46 cases (received conventional open CME surgery).Their intra-and postoperative results were compared between the two groups.Results Operation time,blood loss,the incision length,anal exhaust time and hospital stay in the minimally invasive group were significantly lower than that of the open group (P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant difference in the number of lymph nodes and the number of positive lymph nodes between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05).The complication rate the minimally invasive group was 20.93％,which had no significantly difference comparing with 30.43 ％ of the open group (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion It has less surgical trauma,quicker postoperative recovery and more reliable surgical results of the laparoscopic CME treatment for the right colon cancer patients.关键词
